If you own a handset running Android, you can download and install Locast - mobile application at this address:

With the application installed on your device, you will be able to create and geo-tag reports in the city and publish them in real-time on Locast. At the same time, you can join conversations on topics activated on the website with you own video-responses.

Laptop with webcam
Whether you want to create reports or participate to conversations, you can use your own laptop equipped with a webcam.

Any mobile device with built-in camera
If you are around and want to share a report, an interview or a simple video, you can turn on the camera on your mobile phone and record a video. Afterwards you can transfer the video file (USB cable or Bluetooth connection) to your computer and upload it right away to Locast.

Any digital camera
In the same way, you can shoot your own videos using the digital camera and share them with Locast through your personal computer.

Audio recorder
If you own a digital audio recorder and you just want to grab the audio for your report, you just need to upload on Locast website a common audio format such as WAV or MP3 and geo-tag it.

Locast platform
You can upload your own videos through Locast Web Platform. You just need to register a personal account and sign-in to be able share your casts.
